If you are an alienated American, you are welcome to contribute to this blog. The core reason for having this blog is to help communicate with those who are as alienated from American life as I am. That means that if you are alienated from the political and social life of this country, this blog probably is for you.
One key desire for making this blog work is to avoid all censorship, within reason, of any input of other commentators. Pure spam cannot be tolerated, but all opinion will be as long as it does not become intrusive and destructive to maintaining the site. In other words, you would have to be pretty damn annoying before you would get your comments deleted here. That’s fair enough.
Alienation can be helpful in getting one to think about a situation but potentially can destroy you if not overcome. Let’s try to overcome some of our alienation here by examining the causes for it.
