US destruction, too, comes at a high price. In fact, it is bankrupting our country. We are a morally, politically, and socially bankrupt country, and the economic bankruptcy may soon follow.
Too bad that instead of helping rebuild Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos, the US chose to destroy Iraq, Somalia, and Afghanistan. What dumb choices our society is making.
