Nobody can live in America without being at least vaguely aware that it is a genocidal nation. I was born at a time that the US was committing mass genocide on the Korean Peninsula, passed my youth while my country was committing genocide in SE Asia, and we are now, of course, committing genocide against the people of Iraq and the Palestinians.
And my mother, very much a product of America, supports genocide (especially in Africa, but also in Asia and Latin America) as a solution for solving the population explosion. As an ex German teacher, she has spent years hobnobbing with Germans who were NAZIs in their youth, and who still have the same proclivities today, though these points of view must be now hidden away somewhat, except amongst friends. My mom, bless her, just seems to like the idea of killing others. Your mom or dad might be almost the same, right?
We live in a country with a population that doesn’t want to be informed much about the killing it endorses repeatedly in places usually quite far away. Killing, in fact, is an American jobs program, a social welfare net for the American meathead, and a better investment for the monied. And of course, it provides much fodder for the intellectual set to discuss the pros and cons of the killing, how much?, how costly?, how it should best be done?
Living in a genocidal minded country can be alienating though. What do you think? Does all this killing make you vaguely nervous at times? It might even make some of us lose some sleep. Do you fight with your mom and dad about this aspect of America? Or your spouse?
America, the genocidal country, is alienating… When your society is busy killing others in mass, it is just somehow disturbing.
Let’s look at this “genocidal nation” rhetoric. What are you saying? Is it that the USA is killing people? Of course, it is!
Then why is there such a fuss? Isn’t killing okay? I mean, it’s not okay if you are a middle-class suburban housewife, but if you are a gun-totting soldier of fortune working for a private contractor such as B_l_c_w_t_r Industries then YES it IS okay.
So it’s all a matter of context right? For some it’s alright, but for others, NO. Just put in your application now before the market goes soft.
You’ll be assured a position that let’s you kill like the big boys at B-water do. Just remember not to “f__k up” or you’ll find yourself six feet under without insurance to cover your family’s needs when after you’re gone.
Just remember, it’s all legal. At least according to the current commander-in-chief.
